The design brief.
Guard the raised deck without cluttering a small garden space or blocking the panoramic outlook over the hills, while working around an established garden with restricted access.
A coordinated approach.
Frameless laminated safety-glass panels are held by stainless stand-off fixings along the deck edge, keeping the timber deck as the visual frame and the landscape as the view. Panel joints were positioned to sit discreetly against the hedging.
- Stand-off mounted frameless laminated safety glass
- Discreet stainless fixings along the timber deck edge
- Glass set out to preserve the open outlook over the hills
