The design brief.
The first-floor terrace spans the full rear elevation of the twin-gable house, overlooking the garden and neighbouring playing fields. The guarding needed to deliver compliant edge protection along the entire run while preserving the clean lines of the red-brick and slate architecture.
A coordinated approach.
Frameless laminated safety-glass panels are set along the terrace perimeter with slim upstand fixings, reading as a discreet continuation of the parapet. Tinted privacy returns shield the neighbouring gable ends, and the installation is coordinated around the main contractor's finishing works.
