The design brief.

The garden sits across two levels, with a raised sandstone patio on a timber-clad retaining wall and a flight of stone steps down to the lawn. Both levels needed compliant guarding that holds the line of the new landscaping without closing in the garden.

A coordinated approach.

Stainless steel posts with a round top rail carry clear glass panels along the terrace edge, with a matching balustrade and handrail following the garden steps. The slim posts sit on base plates fixed to the stone and timber surfaces, so the balustrade reads as part of the landscaping rather than an add-on.
