The design brief.
The mezzanine sits within a dramatic vaulted roof structure, edged on three sides with a drop to the living space below. The guarding needed full-height compliant edge protection that would not interrupt the clean lines of the vaulted ceiling or the tiled feature walls.
A coordinated approach.
Frameless laminated safety-glass panels are set in a slim base channel with a discreet black top rail, tracing the full mezzanine perimeter so the glass reads almost invisible against the vaulted void. The run aligns precisely with the split-level floor edge.
