The design brief.
The terrace is built off a brick plinth with level changes at every corner, so the balustrade had to sit neatly on the new brick coping, turn the corners without posts and continue down the flight of garden steps in the same material.
A coordinated approach.
Frameless toughened glass panels are fixed along the brick coping to guard the terrace edges, with a handrailed glass balustrade running beside the steps — keeping the paving, brickwork and garden borders fully in view.
