The design brief.
The sunken terrace sits below lawn level behind a raised planter wall, so the glass had to rise cleanly from the planter line, turn the corners of the steps and keep the lawned garden beyond fully open to view.
A coordinated approach.
Frameless laminated glass panels sit in a slim channel following the terrace edges and step returns, keeping the balustrade line low and crisp against the rendered planter walls.
- Frameless glass balustrade in a slim black channel
- Step returns and planter walls followed on site
- Open outlook over the lawned garden preserved
